Technology in Middle School Math

Using a variety of existing tools, materials, and instructional strategies to address middle school math connections across the curriculum, the instructor team for Technology in Middle School Math of Marti McCormick and Martha Wilson provide course participants with an insightful look at technology infusion.  A plethora of ideas for the meaningful integration of instructional technology into the classroom evolved throughout the course and provided for fully developed lesson structures during the culminating group activity.  Addressing the need for proper and adequate software material and/or web site connections, students were required to develop an assessment tool and rate the educational value of current math software and programs.  Each participants shared their knowledge and discoveries with the class so that all may benefit from the evaluations.
