and present their understanding through varied project assessments; B)
Utilize knowledge and skills acquired in other curricular areas as
resources for completing technological challenges [ex. RCA's, Enrichments,
etc.]; C) Demonstrate responsible management of a variety of resources
during the completion of modular activities and assessments; D)
Investigate, design, model, and analyze solutions to increasingly complex
technological challenges; and E) Recognize the application of
technological concepts as they apply to various systems within their
modular environments. |

Technology Education Lesson Analysis -
Unannounced observation of students completing Theme Park construction as
well as instruction in experiment conducting for field trip to HersheyPark,
Pa.
Visual Art Lesson Analysis - Lesson is part of a unit that
permits students to explore and to apply the Elements of Art to various
2D, media creations as well as expand upon other curricular concepts in
Math and Language Arts. Students will effectively use line,
shape/form, value, texture, color, and space to produce several works of
art (Impressionist Mural utilizing proportional enlargement techniques,
kaleidoscope design, tessellation design, and folio design.)
Caesar Rodney Content Standards in Visual Art include: CSI 1,3, and 6;
CSII 1 and 4; CSIII 2; CSIV 4 and 5; CSV 1, 2, and 5; and CSVI 1 and 2.

Announced)
Upon completion of the lesson, the students will be able to:
Short Term - A) Interpret raw data from their surveys and
compile the numbers required for chart/graph construction; B) Create
several visual displays of data collected from surveys of Amusement Park
Design and Planning utilizing Microsoft Excel.
Long Term - 1) Enhance computer literacy skills that students
will need in a 'Technological' society. This lesson is part of a
Technological Applications Unit that requires students to use various
computer software programs as their companies develop imaginary American
History Theme Parks.
