Extending from an intense, week-long investigation into the emergence of a facilitator from an educator in the modular technology lab, graduate students were invited to develop a series of activities that would enhance a student's time spent using the IT (Instructional Technology) format, or would expand the educational environment of a computer lab to include the more traditional format. Developed in conjunction with a participant's specific module selections and rotations, students were asked to author Discovery Day activities (curriculum) to be used by a semester long class. Each Discovery Day lesson was specified to include: specific learner outcomes for the activity; list of materials/equipment; specific activity instructions; facilitator management and recommendations; and the method for evaluating student performance.
Several Discovery Days have been included and may be accessed by clicking the 'thumbnails' below.
